General Terms and Conditions – Amsterdam Global Boat

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all services offered by Amsterdam Global Boat, including the rental of boats with or without a skipper and the organization of canal cruises and events on the canals of Amsterdam.

1. Definitions

• Service Provider: Amsterdam Global Boat

• Customer: any person or party making a reservation with Amsterdam Global Boat

• Agreement: the contract between the customer and the service provider concerning the use of the boat and related services

2. Reservations and Payments

Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of the agreed deposit or full payment.

Payments must be made no later than before the start of the cruise.

If payment is not received on time, Amsterdam Global Boat reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

For cancellations by the customer, the conditions of our Refund Policy apply.

If Amsterdam Global Boat must cancel the reservation due to force majeure (for example, extreme weather or technical problems), the customer will receive a full refund of the amount paid.

4. Use of the Boat

The customer must use the boat carefully and always follow the instructions of the skipper or staff.

It is prohibited to engage in dangerous behavior or to endanger the safety of others.

Damage caused by negligence or misconduct of the customer will be charged accordingly.

5. Responsibility and Liability

Participation in a cruise is at the customer’s own risk.

Amsterdam Global Boat is not liable for the loss of or damage to personal belongings.

Amsterdam Global Boat is only liable for damages that are the direct result of gross negligence or intent by the service provider.

6. Alcohol and Drinks

Consumption of alcohol on board is permitted, provided it is done responsibly and without causing disturbance to others.

Drinks are not included in the rental price and can be arranged as an additional option.

7. Governing Law

This agreement is governed exclusively by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam.
